This fall, Kristina Shramek, a former Placer County attorney, will present a program on combating human trafficking. Ms. Shramek has previously addressed this important issue at a symposium hosted by Sierra College. California continues to report some of the highest rates of human trafficking in the nation, making awareness and education critical. During her presentation, Ms. Shramek will discuss the scope of this crisis and share practical ways individuals and communities can help combat human trafficking.
Previous Events
Melissa Hannebrink of Quietech delivered an informative presentation on the growing prevalence of internet scams, offering valuable guidance on how to recognize, avoid, and protect oneself from online fraud.
Representatives from FREED, the Madelyn Helling Library, and the Gold Country Senior Services Center participated in a panel discussion highlighting the wide range of resources and services available to residents of Nevada County.

Spring Fashion Show Lunch
Every year, our gals strut their stuff to show us the latest Spring Fashions. This year, our members will be modeling selections from Yuba Blue, J. Breuer, JCPenney, and Whim.


May Luncheon
A repeat favorite of our ladies for lunch is Casa Las Katarinas for a taco bar. There's always plenty of robust conversation. Our entertainment is yet to be decided.




Wine Tasting at Ciotti Cellars
Wine Tasting Event at one of our members' wineries, Ciotti Cellars Winery. Tasting will include five wines, one port, and charcuterie boards for purchase.
Lily's Garden Park
In June, we will find ourselves at Lily's Garden Park.
