Garden Club at Starbright Acres Farm

The Garden Club had the pleasure of meeting Aleta and Ken Barrett, the owners of Starbright Acres Farm in Grass Valley. As certified organic growers, they shared the inspiring story behind their Farm and the values that guide their work. They are dedicated contributors to our community through - teaching agricultural programs, supporting local food education, and providing fresh, healthy products to local farmers markets, stores, and restaurants. After the tour, we enjoyed browsing and purchasing the wonderful selections of plant starts. We ended our meeting on their patio for a picnic, sharing conversation and laughter, and a deep appreciation for their goal of supplying fresh and healthy products to our community.
